The Eritrean Association for peace and democracy invites all civil and political opposition Swedish – Eritreans for a conference on democracy and conflict management in Eritrea.

The Eritrean Association for peace and democracy will organize a three- day conference for the seventh time in Stockholm, Sweden between  ^2nd  and 4^th Novemebr 2007. The association has been
organizing conferences generating constructive dialogue amongst civil society groups, scholars and political leaders from the diversity of the Eritrean people.

                      The theme of the conference will be on

                      Democracy and conflict management

Aims

-         Identifying the factors that hinder or enhance unity among Eritreans struggling for peace and democray

-          facilitate a communicative rationality/ dialogue to encourage consensus by enabling the democratic forces to come together to learn and cooperate for peace and democracy in Eritrea.

Objectives

-         Give an opportunity to help us in advancing the cause of building confidence and trust

-         opening to dialogue and further moving towards unity in order to overcome the tyranny devastating our people and land.
