Battle on the Eritrean Sudanese border

In a serious of mass escape phenomenon from Eritrea a battle took place in the 4 p.m. Friday, 24 /08/2007 between a group of Eritrean army ( were trying to flee to Sudan) and  border guard alkhalas web site said today .

The battle caused number of death on both sides and five of the group have capture and some of them succeed to enter Sudan while others returned to Eritrea.
  Elsewhere alkhalas web site sources reported that the soldiers  of escapees from (Sawa) camp continues , where the number of deserters attain  70 on 1 week only , and This escape had taken a military formations result of the lack of freedom and the exercise of persecution in Eritrea
